What are the custom fields used for?
Custom Fields help you track additional information that can be specific to your business. Custom fields are for internal use and not viewable by the customer. Custom fields are available in the following areas:
If you add a custom field, for example, to a job page, that field will be applied to all future job pages.
What type of custom fields are available?
1) Checkbox: This is a small interactive box that's toggled by the user to indicate an affirmative or negative choice. When clicked, a checkmark (✓) appears inside the box, to indicate an affirmative choice (yes). When clicked again, the checkmark disappears, indicating a negative choice (no).
2) Text field: This is a small box that allows you to enter a single line of text. You can enter fundamental values, such as a name, number, or short phrase.
3) Dropdown menu: This is a menu that offers a list of options. Drop-downs allow people to pick an item from a list that you created.
4) Number Field: This is a small box that allows you to enter a single line of numbers. You can enter fundamental values, such as a PO number, security code, or number value.
Default Value: Set a default value that automatically applies to this field, or leave it blank so that you can enter in this information as you go.
