You can convert a visit into an estimate with just one click. Let me explain what happens when you convert a visit. The system will create a new estimate document, assign it an Estimate ID, and copy all the customer information over so you don't have to. The two documents are now linked.
Step By Step Guide
1) First, click on the My Work icon located in the top navigation, then choose visit from the menu, its located in the top navigation bar.

2) Now you're in the visits section. Search and locate the visit you intend to convert into an estimate and click on the three dots which is located to the far right. Next, choose Edit.
3) Now, click on the “Actions” button located in the upper right corner of the page and select Convert to estimate.

4) A new window will open to confirm your selection. Click yes.

5) Final step. Let's save your changes by clicking on the Save button at the bottom right corner of this page. The visit was converted to an estimate.

Now, if you look in the upper left corner, you'll notice the Estimate number, a gear icon, plus a Draft status, and a lightbulb icon.
A) If you click on the gear icon, you can manually change the estimate number.
B) The Draft status will change once an action is taken. Example: If you email the estimate to a customer, the status will change to Send To Customer.
C) If you click the lightbulb, it shows the converted details.
